CAIRO – Head of Egyptian Drug Authority Tamer Essam witnessed a signing ceremony of a cooperation agreement between the authority and the United States Pharmacopeia (USP).
The deal aims at enhancing cooperation in areas of interest as well as exchanging expertise in the fields of supervisory and regulatory action in order to implement the latest international standards concerning safety and quality of medical products.
This comes within EDA efforts to create strategic partnerships with various international organizations as the Egyptian state is keen on supporting and localizing national industries as well as exporting medical products to the international markets.
