CAIRO- The Egyptian Ministry of Emigration and Egyptian Expatriate’s Affairs on Sunday urged Egyptian nationals wishing to leave Sudan to abide by the evacuation’s assembly points.
In a statement, the ministry said the current assembly points are the Egyptian Consulate General in Port Sudan and the border crossings of Qastal and Arqin.
The evacuation from the Wadi Seidna Air Base has been suspended for a variety of reasons, including security, the statement read.
Everyone presently on the site must leave as soon as possible and proceed to one of the stated assembly and evacuation points, it added.
