Egypt’s Minister of International Co-operation Rania el-Mashat has discussed in a meeting with Tunisian Minister of Economy and Planning Feryel Ouerghi Sebai ways of boosting cooperation in development finance.
The meeting was held on the sidelines of the annual joint meetings of Arab financial institutions in the New Administrative Capital on Thursday.
Mashat said the Egyptian-Tunisian Joint Higher Committee is aimed at advancing bilateral cooperation in different development areas and enhancing business relations through the private sector in the two countries.
The international co-operation minister reviewed the measures to strengthen the private sector’s participation in the development process.
On her part, the Tunisian planning minister expressed appreciation of Egypt’s efforts to organize the meetings of Arab financial institutions.
Sebai noted that the Tunisian government is keen on fostering co-operation with the Egyptian government in various fields.
