Egypt will witness on Thursday two remarkable astronomical phenomena that could be noticed in a clear weather, with no clouds or water vapor in the sky, said Professor of Astronomy at the National Research Institute of Astronomy and Geophysics (NRIAG) Ashraf Tadros on Saturday.
Tadros, in statements to MENA, said the first phenomenon is the Beehive Cluster, which is also known as M44, a captivating open star cluster located in the constellation Cancer.
He added that the Beehive may be rarely observed by naked eye, however, using a telescope is recommended for spotting it throughout the night till 5:00 am.
The second phenomenon will witness a conjunction between Venus, the brightest planet, and Mars, the Red Planet, at 5:20 am.
