Egypt’s Minister of Supply Ali el Meselhi said an agreement was reached with the Serbian side to get wheat and corn from Serbia, Bulgaria and Romania via Port of Constanța to the ports of Alexandria and Damietta.
This came on Wednesday during his meeting with former Serbian President Boris Tadić and his accompanying delegation to discuss supplying Egypt with more than one million tons of wheat in addition to providing Egypt with its needs from corn to meet the needs of poultry breeders.
The meeting came to after the successful visit of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to Serbia where several agreements were reached with the Serbian side.
