CAIRO – Egypt and Sudan launched on Tuesday their joint exercise, dubbed “Guardian of the South-1”, at Mohamed Naguib Military Base.
Elements of the Egyptian and Sudanese border guards will participate in the exercise that will last till October 29.
The drill comes as part of a series of joint exercises conducted by the Egyptian Armed Forces with other friendly countries with the view to sharing expertise and enhancing military cooperation.
