He further highlighted the importance of opening new markets for Egyptian startups and boosting co-operation among government institutions to launch integrated initiatives that contribute to building a unified and effective entrepreneurship support ecosystem.
For his part, Foreign Minister Badr Abdel-Aati said that promoting entrepreneurship is a key pillar of sustainable economic growth, stressing the importance of empowering young innovators and facilitating access to financing.
He noted that the government is working through international co-operation programmes to provide innovative funding mechanisms for startups, while supporting business incubators and accelerators to enhance their growth potential.
During the meeting, Industry Minister Khaled Hashim reviewed the ministry’s efforts to identify investment opportunities and industrial needs across priority sectors as part of Egypt’s broader industrial development strategy.
Meanwhile, Supply Minister Sherif Farouk stressed the importance of simplifying procedures related to company establishment, trademark registration, and licensing to improve the overall business climate and support the growth of emerging companies.
