Foreign Minister Badr Abdel-Aati, on Tuesday, opened the ministry’s Ahmed Orabi Legalisation Office in the Mohandessin district of Giza, after the completion of renovation and upgrade works.
Upgrading the office is part of the ministry’s ongoing efforts to improve the quality and accessibility of consular services, an officials press release stated.
During the visit, Minister Abdel-Aati reviewed enhancements to the office’s infrastructure and operational systems, aimed at accelerating transaction processing and reducing waiting times. He stressed the need to maintain and continuously improve service standards to meet citizens’ needs.
The development of attestation offices is part of a broader strategy to expand consular services nationwide and ease the burden on citizens, he added. He highlighted the recent launch of mobile attestation offices in several Egyptian universities.
The ministry will carry on implementing its expansion plan across the nation, the minister noted.
The number of attestation offices has now reached 37, with additional branches set to open at key locations, including universities and government institutions, to facilitate access to consular services across the country.
