Egypt is making great strides to become a leading hub for global investments. The government is taking a raft of measures to localize industry in various fields.
Participants in the fourth session of the Industry Committee of the National Dialogue stressed the importance of drawing up a comprehensive strategy to develop industrial sector and curb any challenges impeding the industrial process.
This session was held under the theme of “Integration between industrial localization and global investment”.
The head of the technical secretariat of the National Dialogue, Mahmoud Fawzy, praised President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s steadfast support of the National Dialogue.
The National Dialogue represents the nation’s determination to construct a new republic based on innovative visions befitting Egypt’s stature and future prospects, Fawzy added in exclusive statements to The Egyptian Gazette.
Fawzy underlined the importance of establishing laws, which aim at boosting the local industry, and increasing exports.
Egypt emerged as a pioneering power on the global stage, attracting investors from around the world, Fawzy said.
He stressed that the government is working hard to re-operate the shut-down factories to create jobs for young people.
The Egyptian government has taken a number of facilities to attract investors to launch their business here, Fawzy said.
Fawzy underlined: “The future of industry in Egypt can generate greater added value. The government is seeking to solve the problems of local and foreign investors”.
Fawzy stressed the state has attached paramount importance to empowering women economically, through assisting them to launch small ventures, which help them to make ends meet.
Fawzy underscored the necessity of coordination between the ministries of tourism, social solidarity and emigration to make the best use of female hand-made industries.
The National Dialogue is the lifeline of economic and social challenges, according to an economist Hoda el-Mallah.
She referred to the importance of alternative various views between participants through holding organized sessions.
