CAIRO – Egyptian Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Ayman Ashour has expressed his ministry’s readiness to offer all kinds of support and facilitation to Saudi students studying at Egyptian universities.
The minister’s statements came during a meeting Monday with Saudi Ambassador in Cairo Osama Al Nugaly to discuss means to boost co-operation between the two countries in the scientific and research domains.
At the start of the meeting, the ambassador hailed the brotherly relations binding the two countries in many domains including education, science, culture and research.
They reviewed the higher education system in Egypt in the government, private, technological and non-profit universities, praising the establishment of King Salman University in South Sinai with its branches in Tor, Ras Sidr and Sharm el-Sheikh.
For his part, the Saudi envoy hailed relations binding Egypt and the Kingdom in the scientific research domains, expressing his country’s readiness to push forward ties between the two countries.
