Lieutenant General Mahmoud Fuad Abdel Gawad, Commander of the Air Force, met his Saudi counterpart Lieutenant General Turki bin Bandar Al Saud, during his official visit toSaudi Arabia to attend the opening ceremony of King Faisal Air College in its new headquarters and to celebrate the graduation of the 103rd batch of college cadets.
Commander Abdel Gawad and Commander Turki discussed various issues of mutual interest, reflecting strong strategic partnership and co-operation between the air forces of both countries.
The two sides lauded the productive collaboration in bolstering technical capabilities, combat readiness, and knowledge exchange across all domains, which would strengthen their ability to confront common challenges in light of the regional developments.
Furthermore, the Commander of the Egyptian Air Force extended congratulations to his Saudi counterpart on the inauguration of the college’s new facilities and advanced capabilities, as well as the successful graduation of the new batch of the college cadets,emphasising the enduring and robust nature of the historical relations between their countries
