Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry held talks with his South African counterpart Naledi Pandor after concluding the meetings of the joint committee.
The two sides discussed means of fostering bilateral relations in various fields as well as the regional and international issues of mutual concern.
The ministers are expected to hold a press conference after their talks.
Earlier, the joint committee reviewed boosting ties in political, economic, trade and scientific domains.
They also asserted the importance of doubling the joint economic opportunities as well as exchanging expertise in the fields of space sciences, libraries, transportation and culture.
