Egyptian Youths and Sports Minister Ashraf Sobhi signed on Thursday a memo of understanding with his Russian counterpart Oleg Matytsin to boost sports co-operation.
Under the memo, the two sides will exchange programms, expertise and information in the sports domain, Sobhi said.
The memo, that was agreed upon during the Russian minister’s visit to Cairo in May, was inked on the sidelines of the 9th international forum ” Russia – country of sports”.
During the visit, the minister expressed hope of a real Egyptian-Russian co-operation in all domains, especially sports one.
