Egypt’s embassy in Vienna has organized an economic webinar with the aim of presenting the investment opportunities available in the country for foreign companies.
The webinar, in which 120 Austrian and international companies and institutions take part, was organized under the 12th Arab-Austrian Economic Forum, which is held online, in cooperation with the Austro-Arab Chamber of Commerce and the Union of Arab Chambers (UAC), according to a Foreign Ministry statement.
Egypt’s Minister of Planning and Economic Development Hala el Said and Tourism and Antiquities Minister Khaled Anani, and Austrian Minister of Economy Margarete Schramböck took part in the webinar via recorded messages.
The webinar tackled three main axes, namely economic reforms over the recent years and the investment and trade opportunities in Egypt, the opportunities of cooperation and investment in the transport sector, and ways of promoting the Austrian tourism to Egypt and boosting cooperation in the tourism field.
The discussions reflected the volume of new projects in Egypt, the investment opportunities available for Austrian companies in multiple fields particularly in development, transport and tourism and ways of boosting the economic and investment relations between the two countries during the upcoming period.
Egypt is the guest of honor of this year’s forum, which is held annually.
