The Ministry of Youth and Sports said Egyp will host three international championships for Taekwondo in February, which will be organized by the Egyptian Taekwondo Federation for the first time ever in the Arab and African regions.
In a statement Thursday, the ministry said that Egypt will host an international championship on February 11-15 and Egypt’s international tournament for Para Taekwondo on February 16 and the championship of the cup of the president of the International Taekwon-Do Federation on February 17-18.
A galaxy of players from different world countries are expected to take part in the championships, it added.
The tournaments come as the International Taekwon-Do Federation celebrates 50th founding anniversary, according to it.
