CAIRO – Egyptian Minister of Trade and Industry Nevin Gamea said Friday a plan will be launched to develop the industrial sector in Egypt with a goal to raise the country’s exports to $100 billion.
Egypt will move to an integrated industrial revolution and development, the minister added in televised statements.
She referred to cabinet’s debates over re-forming the Supreme Council for Exports to be headed by the president of the country.
The council will include the premier, the central bank of Egypt governor in addition to a number of ministers concerned, she added.
The country also focuses on new markets in Africa, Gamea said.
We are also moving towards establishing major industrial complexes to serve businessmen, she added.
