CAIRO – Egyptian Ambassador to Panama Hazem Hanafy conferred with Panama’s Health Minister Fernando Boyd on means to boost cooperation in the field of health and exchange of medical expertise and public health initiatives, in addition to studying the possibility to ink a memorandum of understanding between Egypt and Panama in the field of health.
During the meeting, Hanafy invited the minister to participate in the second Global Congress on Population, Health and Development (PHDC’23) due on October 21-24.
The meeting tackled the Egyptian potentials in the pharmaceutical field and the importance Egypt gives to exporting medicines and vaccines to different countries especially after Egypt’s success in exporting insulin to Cuba, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigration said on Wednesday.
