Egypt’s Planning and Economic Development Minister Hala el Saeid had a meeting on Tuesday with Omani Minister of Economy Said bin Muhammad Al Saqri to discuss means of boosting bilateral co-operation.
The meeting took place on the sidelines of the G20 meeting, currently in session in India from June 11 to 13, according to a statement by the Planning Ministry.
The meeting took up means of strengthening technical co-operation between the two countries and Egypt’s support for the Sultanate of Oman in the field of macroeconomics and development, the statement said.
Saeid added Egypt and the Sultanate of Oman have strong ties, stressing Egypt’s keenness on shoring up co-operation with Oman and transferring its expertise to the Omani side in various domains, it added.
She invited the Sultanate of Oman to join the initiative of the greening national investment plans, the statement said.
