CAIRO- President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre reviewed the latest developments in Gaza during a phone on Sunday.
During their phone conversation, Sisi underscored the need to work for bringing about a just and comprehensive settlement to the Palestinian cause, based on the two-state solution, according to Presidential Spokesman Ahmed Fahmy.
Sisi also emphasized the need to keep pushing for a ceasefire to protect civilians who currently live in unprecedented sufferings.
The two sides have agreed on the need to secure immediate access to humanitarian aid to the war-ravaged enclave, and honor international laws.
They also discussed bilateral relations and ways to promote economic cooperation, the spokesman noted.
