CAIRO – Egyptian Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation Mohamed Abdel Aati discussed with representatives of the Dutch international co-operation group a number of water-linked issues.
They had a videoconference meeting on Friday as the group currently works on writing a report on cooperation between Egypt and the Netherlands in the field of water.
The minister highlighted decades-long cooperation on water issues between the two countries through exchanging expertise to help face the negative effects of climate change.
According to MENA, Abdel Aati also reviewed challenges facing the water sector in Egypt, shedding light on state efforts to carry out projects meant to develop water resources.
