CAIRO – Ambassador Amr Aljowaily, Assistant Foreign Minister for Multilateral Affairs and International Security has co-chaired a session of talks in Cairo with Ambassador Javier Colomina, the NATO’s Acting Assistant Secretary General for Political Affairs and Security Policy, in the presence of representatives of national bodies.
Colomina also serves as the NATO Secretary General’s Special Representative for the Southern Neighborhood.
The talks tackled aspects of co-operation between Egypt and the NATO, including the Individually Tailored Partnership Programme (ITPP) and the NATO’s action plan for the Southern Neighborhood, according to a statement released by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates on Monday.
The Egyptian delegation participating in the talks stressed Egypt’s keenness to consult with all parties to achieve regional stability and maintain international peace and security, the statement concluded.
