CAIRO – The manpower ministries in Egypt and Libya have agreed on an e-linkage system to prevent manipulation and fraud.
This system is designed to counter the illegal usage of Egyptian recruitment operations in Libya, the two ministries said in a joint statement Monday.
It is also meant to prevent human trafficking and illegal travel to Libya, the statement added.
Egyptian workers should only be allowed entrance to Libya through the e-linkage system that was launched today, the ministries stressed.
They made it clear that this integrated system should facilitate the movement of workers because it provides all information about the labour market in Libya.
