Egypt is keen on promoting bilateral cooperation with Qatar in the various spheres, affirmed Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli.
He also pointed out to the consensus between the political leadership of the two countries to expand the frameworks of cooperation.
Madbouli’s remarks came during his meeting Sunday with Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman al Thani.
The meeting was held on the sidelines of Madbouli’s participation in the proceedings of the 22nd Edition of Doha Forum.
During the meeting, Madbouli also expressed aspiration to invest in communication between the two sides during the coming period to implement the various visions and proposals that were discussed.
For his part, the Qatari prime minister underlined the close ties binding Egypt and Qatar, saying that the two countries are keen on further enhancing bilateral relations.
He further expressed keenness on enhancing investments between the two countries in a bid to achieve mutual benefit.
