Egyptian Foreign Minister Abdel‑Aati and Jordan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi reviewed on Sunday the dangerous military escalation in the region, as well as coordinated positions.

Abdel‑Aati condemned the attacks targeting the security and stability of Arab states, and voiced rejection of any justification for violations of international law.

He also warned such attacks could push the region into chaos.

The two sides stressed the urgent need to stop the war and halt rising military operations. They cautioned against the catastrophic consequences of continued escalation.

Abdel‑Aati said diplomacy and dialogue are the only way to contain the crisis and spare regional peoples further suffering. The call also touched on future arrangements after the war. Abdel‑Aati highlighted the importance of a clear vision for regional security, calling for stronger Arab cooperation and effective security mechanisms. He pointed to the idea of forming a joint Arab force to protect national security and safeguard resources.

The two warministers agreed to keep close coordination between Cairo and Amman. They underlined the shared Arab effort to restore peace and stability in the region.
