Egyptian and Jordanian officials discussed this week aspects of bilateral cooperation in the field of facilitating and exchanging air traffic between the two sides.
This came at a meeting of the Civil Aviation Regulatory Authority in Jordan attended by Chairman of the Egyptian Holding Company for Airports and Air Navigation Mohamed Saeed Mahrous and President of the National Air Navigation Services Company Ihab Mohy.
The meeting also dealt with exchanging expertise in the field of air navigation and how to take advantage of the strategic location to link air traffic from the east and west and vice versa to raise the capacity of the joint air routes.
The meeting resulted in the signing of an air traffic exchange agreement between the Egyptian and Jordanian sides.
