CAIRO – Egyptian Petroleum Minister Karim Badawy and Jordanian Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Saleh al-Kharabsheh discussed boosting cooperation between Egypt and Jordan in the fields of petroleum, gas and mineral wealth on the sidelines of the 3rd Egypt Mining Forum.
The Egyptian minister said Egyptian-Jordanian ties are historic, adding that Egypt is looking forward to further promote bilateral cooperation.
Badawy said that Egypt is ready to present its expertise to Jordan in all domains related to the mining field, according to a statement issued by the Petroleum Ministry Wednesday.
Meanwhile, the Jordanian minister pointed out to the depth of ties between Jordan and Egypt at the level of political leadership and people.
He also shed light on achievements of the Jordanian-Egyptian Fajr Natural Gas Company.
