CAIRO – The Nuclear and Radiological Regulatory Commission (NRRC) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Hungary’s Atomic Energy Authority to exchange technical information and cooperate in nuclear safety, radiation protection, and nuclear security.
In a statement, the NRRC said that the agreement supports the sharing of regulatory practices and the building of capacities in areas of mutual interest.
It reflects a shared interest in strengthening international cooperation and improving national regulatory systems based on global standards.
The authority also described the agreement as a foundation for long-term collaboration with Hungary in nuclear oversight.
