Egyptian Minister of State for Military Production Mohamed Salaeddin Moustafa discussed on Tuesday with Hungarian Minister of Defense Kristóf Szalay-Bobrovniczky means to cement Egyptian-Hungarian relations and military production co-operation.
The meeting took place at the ministry’s headquarters in the New Administrative Capital in the presence of the head of the Egyptian Armed Forces Armament Authority and the Hungarian Ambassador in Cairo.
The two sides shed light on the strength of Egyptian-Hungarian relations and keenness on boosting them in light of visits exchanged by the two countries’ leaders.
Minister Salaeddin Moustafa hailed cooperation between the ministry-affiliated companies and Hungarian firms to support technologies needed for industry in Egypt.
For his part, the Hungarian minister stressed the importance of boosting investment cooperation in the run-up to launching joint projects and pumping investments in the two countries.
He said he encourages Hungarian companies to invest in Egypt in cooperation with Egyptian military production companies with the aim of deepening local industries.
The Egyptian minister invited Szalay-Bobrovniczky and Hungarian companies to take part in the third edition of military industries exhibition “EDEX 2023 ” due to be held in December in Egypt.
