KUWAIT CITY – Egyptian Minister of Planning and Economic Development Hala el Saeed hailed as strong and distinguished Egypt-Kuwait relations whether between their peoples or leaderships.

There are many great investment opportunities within the Egyptian economy in light of the country’s strong infrastructure and legislative reforms in addition to its attractive investment climate, Saeed added.

The minister made the remarks during her meeting with members of the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry, chaired by Mohammed Jassim Al-Saqer.

Egypt’s development experience went through several phases, beginning with that of political stability after President Abdel Fattah El Sisi took office in 2014, she said.

Since then, the State has developed a long-term vision and plan: Egypt Vision 2030, amid a package of economic reform programs and a focus on improving the State’s infrastructure, the minister added.

She also highlighted the State’s steps to invest in electricity, road networks, ports and energy at a cost of $400 billion.
