CAIRO – Youth and Sports Minister Ashraf Sobhy asserted Monday that Egypt has become an international destination for playing host to big championships thanks to privileges the country enjoys.
The world at large has been admiring facilities and the sports infrastructure in different global championships, hosted by Egypt, said Sobhy while attending a press conference, held to announce details of the 2022 Palm Hills Arab international Junior Open Squash Tournament Monday.
The Egyptian official welcomed all delegations taking part in the championship.
As many as 594 players from 14 countries will participate in the championship, to be held on July 21-28.
Athletes represent Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Sudan, Bahrain, Jordan, the US, Greece and India.
