CAIRO – Social Solidarity Minister Maya Morsy has discussed with German ambassador to Egypt Jurgen Scholz and his accompanying delegation ways to cement cooperation between the ministry and the German government in different fields.
During their meeting in the premises of the Social Solidarity Ministry in the New Administrative Capital, both sides reviewed ways to promote cooperation between the ministry and the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) in several domains.
Morsy cited social solidarity programs carried out by the state, particularly Takaful and Karama Program that has been serving 4.7 million families for 10 years.
For his part, the German diplomat lauded fruitful cooperation with the Social Solidarity Ministry to carry out social development projects in different fields.
