Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Thursday discussed at a meeting with Peter Lürssen, the CEO of the German shipbuilding company Lürssen, means of developing maritime industries, said Presidential Spokesman Bassam Rady.
The meeting was attended by Commander of the Egyptian Naval Forces Vice Admiral Ahmed Khaled and Head of the Navy’s Armament Division Rear Admiral Mohamed Shalabi, the spokesman added.
The two sides probed cooperation in building ships of various models and the transfer of technology in this field, as well as training the technical cadres in accordance with international quality standards, the spokesman noted
