EgyptAir Company for Medical Services (EgyptAir Hospital) signed on Monday a co-operation protocol with the General Authority for Hospitals in Paris, which includes 39 medical facilities.
Board Chairman of EgyptAir Hospital Dr Ayman Salah and Dr Florence Weber, Director of International Relations at the General Administration of Paris Hospitals, signed the protocol.
The protocol is meant to enhance co-operation between the two sides in the field of providing better health and treatment services.
Minister of Civil Aviation Mohamed Abbas said that the move is aimed to exchange expertise and training programmes between the two sides, to ensure the provision of integrated and distinguished health services for workers in the civil aviation sector.
Minister Abbas said that his ministry is attaching due importance to developing health system for workers, their families and pensioners.
The protocol is also an important step to attract more medical tourism into the country, the minister of civil aviation said.
Chairman of the EgyptAir Holding Company Yehia Zakaria stated that the protocol aims to exchange experiences with the French side to improve medical services and learn about the latest developments in various medical specialties.
The bridges of co-operation with French partners are long-standing and well-established, Zakaria said, looking forward to more fruitful co-operation and benefiting from French expertise in achieving the highest level of efficiency for the medical services provided at EgyptAir Hospital.
