CAIRO – Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry met on Thursday with Israel’s Alternate Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Yair Lapid at Tahrir Palace here, Foreign Ministry spokesman Ahmed Hafez tweeted.
The meeting comes as part of Egypt’s efforts to revive the peace process, the spokesman said.
Talks will also tackle bilateral relations.
