CAIRO – Egyptian Minister of Irrigation and Water Resources Hany Sewilam lauded strong relations between Egypt and the European Union in all domains.
The minister made his remarks on Friday at a meeting with Ambassador of the European Union in Egypt Christian Berger and his accompanying delegation to consider cementing water cooperation between Egypt and the EU.
The minister shed light on some EU-funded programs, initiatives and projects to provide Egypt with technical assistance to upgrade the fields of water and irrigation, among others.
During the meeting, the two sides also reviewed the future visions on cooperation between the Irrigation Ministry and the EU and the European investments in Egypt.
