CAIRO – Egypt’s Minister of Higher Education and acting Health Minister Khaled Abdel Ghaffar has directed to issue weekly, instead of daily, reports on the number of Covid-19 infection cases and deaths.

Spokesman for the Health Ministry Hossam Abdel Ghaffar said the Covid-19 report is set to be issued weekly on Saturdays.

This decision was attributed to the decline in infection cases and deaths for two straight weeks, Abdel Ghaffar said, urging citizens to continue adopting precautionary measures.
