The Egyptian Armed Forces has given instructions for the preparation of three helicopters to participate with the Greek authorities in putting out the fires that raged in a number of forests in Greece, the Armed Forces spokesman said on Monday.
The helicopters, he added, would be equipped with all advanced means of extinguishing fires.
The move comes in pursuance of President Sisi’s directives for supporting friendly and sisterly countries in confronting crises and emergency situations they pass through, the Armed Forces spokesman said on his official Facebook page.
This also came in affirmation of the depth of the historical relations between Egypt and Greece, the Armed Forces spokesman added.
