Egypt co-operates with the Cypriot bodies to deal with all the challenges and problems besetting the Egyptian Community in Cyprus, affirmed Minister of State for Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates’ Affairs Soha Gendi.
The minister’s remarks came during her meeting with members of the Egyptian community in Cyprus, as part of her first official trip to Europe.
Delivering a speech during the meeting, the minister added that holding a meeting with the Egyptian community is considered one of the first priorities of her visit to Cyprus.
The State gives top priority to supporting the Egyptian expatriates, affirmed the minister.
Gendi, meanwhile, reviewed the ministry’s work strategy and what it had achieved during the past year in terms of achievements, and various forms of communications, which allowed for getting acquainted with 55 Egyptian communities around the world, through holding various meetings via video conference, and working on many files to serve the Egyptians abroad.
