Minister of State for Military Production Salah Soliman Gomblat stressed the ministry’s commitment to strengthening industrial partnerships with African countries in a way that serves mutual interests.
He made these remarks as he received a high-level delegation from the Central African Republic (CAR), headed by Defence Minister Bireau Rameaux Claude on Tuesday.
The minister highlighted opportunities for cooperation, noting that the Central African Republic’s natural resources could support mining industries operated by Egypt’s military production companies.
He added that an integrated partnership could be established by supplying raw materials for manufacturing in Egypt and exporting finished products back to the Central African Republic.
Gomblat also reviewed the capabilities of the ministry’s training sector, which includes advanced educational facilities and laboratories.
He noted that the sector offers training programmes for African military and civilian personnel across various fields.
The Central African Republic delegation commended the ministry’s industrial and technological capabilities.
The delegation voiced interest in expanding cooperation, particularly in mining, training specialists, exporting Egyptian agricultural equipment, and benefiting from Egypt’s expertise in both military and civilian industries.
