Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty and Belgian Deputy Premier and Foreign Minister Maxime Prévot lauded on Sunday the depth of bilateral relations.
Talks were held on the sidelines of the Sir Bani Yas Forum.
The two ministers discussed ways to further cooperation in the economic, investment and education fields, as well as fostering efforts over issues related to emigration and the recovery of Egyptian antiquities.
The meeting also covered regional developments, especially the situation in Gaza, with both sides stressing the importance of coordinated international efforts to sustain the ceasefire, ensure the flow of humanitarian aid and support reconstruction efforts.
The forum, which kicked off on Friday, is an annual high-level policy forum hosted by the UAE, bringing together senior government officials, diplomats, policymakers, academics and thought leaders from around the world.
