Egypt’s Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli stressed the profound historical relations between the leadership and peoples of Egypt and Bahrain, emphasizing the government’s keenness to push forward bilateral co-operation to broader horizons, particularly in the economic field.
The Prime Minister made these remarks during his meeting with the Bahraini Ambassador to Egypt and Permanent Representative to the Arab League Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainalas she starts her term in Egypt. He highlighted the longstanding diplomatic relations between the two countries that extend over half a century.
He emphasised the importance of building on the commitment of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain to strengthen and expand relations.
Ambassador Zainal said she appreciates the growth and development of fraternal relations between the two countries at all levels, and echoed the mutual keenness of both countries to enhance co-operation and coordination on various issues.
