Egypt’s Public Enterprises Sector Minister Mahmoud Esmat discussed on Sunday with chairman of Aluminum Bahrain (ALBA) company Sheikh Daij bin Salman bin Daij Al Khalifa opening new vistas for investment in the aluminum industry.
The minister lauded deeply-rooted relations binding Egypt with Bahrain, reviewing the strategy prepared by the ministry over the past few months to comply with State Ownership Policy Document in order to increase the private sector’s role in the national economy.
The minister said a detailed plan of all available investment opportunities was prepared, referring to government efforts to provide an investment-magnet environment.
The minister talked about the huge infrastructure projects that were carried out over the past few years.
The Bahraini official lauded the current investment climate in Egypt, saying efforts are underway to finalize partnership between Alba company and Metallurgical Industries Holding Company in the Aluminum industry.
