Egypt’s Ambassador to South Sudan Moataz Mostafa Abdel Kader has met with Vice-President of South Sudan Hussein Abdul Baqi, during which they discussed ways of boosting cooperation between Egypt and South Sudan in the various vital sectors.
During the meeting, the Egyptian ambassador hailed close ties binding Egypt and South Sudan, said the Foreign Ministry on its official Facebook page Tuesday.
Egypt continues to provide support to service sectors to South Sudan, especially in the fields of health, education and technical education, said the ambassador.
Egypt’s support to South Sudan aims to improve the standard of living of the South Sudanese nation and attain sustainable development in South Sudan, he added.
The vice president of South Sudan, for his part, hailed the appreciation of bilateral ties between Egypt and Sudan, especially in the services sector.
Fruitful co-operation between the two countries is felt by the South Sudanese citizens, he added.
He also hailed Egypt’s support to his country and its efforts to attain optimal benefit from Sudan’s potentials.
Egypt’s role in entrenching peace and security in South Sudan is crucial, he went on to say.
