The Egyptian Air Force dropped tonnes of humanitarian and relief aid on northern Gaza Strip during the Eid al-Fitr days as per the directives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
Following President Sisi’s instructions to intensify efforts in supporting Palestinian brethren and transporting urgent humanitarian aid to Gaza residents, the Egyptian Air Force executed daily air drops of humanitarian aid in co-operation with Jordan.
These airdrops included dozens of tonnes of food and medical supplies amid the unprecedented crisis caused by ongoing military operations within Gaza.
This initiative coincides with Egyptian endeavours to reach a ceasefire and secure aid flow through the Rafah border crossing.
Egypt is also collaborating and coordinating with regional and international forces to deliver sufficient and sustainable humanitarian aid to Gaza Strip to alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian brothers there.
