NEW ALAMEIN – Egyptian Space Agency (EgSA) CEO Sharif Seqdy discussed with Saudi Space Agency (SSA) CEO Mohammed bin Saud al Tamimi ways of boosting mechanisms of co-operation in the satellite technologies including the domains of manufacturing, operation, imaging, and marketing.
They agreed on giving a top priority to the remote sensing and imaging satellites throughout the current period.
This came on the sidelines of the “New Space Horizons – Africa and the Middle East” conference, which is currently taking place in New Alamein city as a part of the Egypt International Airshow 2024.
The two sides discussed a cooperation agreement signed in December 2023 between the EgSA and SSA to promote space cooperation between the two countries and share know-how in this domain.
