Education Minister Mohamed Abdel Latif and National Press Authority Chairman Abdel Sadeq Al-Shorbagi attended on Tuesday the signing of a cooperation protocol between the Ministry of Education and Dar Al-Tahrir for Printing and Publishing. The agreement aims to improve educational services and strengthen digital transformation in schools.
The protocol was signed by Akram Hassan, Assistant Minister for Presidential Initiatives and Curriculum Development, and Eng. Tarek Mohamed Lotfi, Chairman of Dar Al-Tahrir. Senior officials from both sides were present.
Minister Abdel Latif said the partnership highlights the vital role of press institutions in supporting education. He stressed that the agreement will provide trusted learning materials, improve student performance, and advance the ministry’s digital education strategy.
For his part, Al-Shorbagi praised the minister’s efforts and noted Dar Al-Tahrir’s long history in educational publishing, including its free school supplement for more than fifty years. He said the institution is committed to modernizing its services to match new technology.
The protocol includes digital and printed learning content, approved by the ministry, along with online assessments. Dar Al-Tahrir will provide a secure platform and updated publications.
