Egypt’s Minister of Education and Technical Education,Reda Hegazi,toured on Sunday several schools in Marsa Matrouh, where General Secondary Education Certificate (GSEC) exams are taking place, to ensure that the exams went well.
MarsaMatrouh Governor, Khaled Shoeib, accompanied the minister duringthe tour, along with a host of senior education officials from the governorate.
GSEC students,in both the scientific and literary divisions,sat their physics and history exams on Sunday.
Minister Hegazi makes continual contactswith educational directorate heads across the nation to make sure that the examination process moves smoothly.
Roughly 783,025 students are sitting GSECexams this year.
The Ministry of Education asked the students to attend at the examination centres ten minutes earlier to fill in the necessary data ahead of the exams.
