Vice president of the Egyptian Trade Union Federation (ETUF) Hisham Farouk said Saturday that the economic conference, called for by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, is deemed a lifeline for the national economy.
Farouk praised the quick response by the Egyptian government, which decided to hold the conference on October 23-25.
The economic conference is seen as a real start for tackling the global challenges, dynamics, and the economic crisis facing the world following the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, he added.
