The Egyptian Minister of Finance Mohamed Maait on Thursday announced that the payroll automation system for state employees will be launched next January.
The new system is guaranteed accurate and uses standardised procedures for calculating salaries.
The government is proceeding with the digitisation with Government Financial Management Information System (GFMIS) and the e-payment system, the minister added.
