A massive dust storm hit Cairo and other cities on Thursday, ruining air quality and reducing visibility nationwide.
The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) had earlier warned that sandy winds, a dust storm and severe rise in temperatures will take place today and continue until tomorrow across the country.
The Authority added that the Egypt will experience a dust storm, rain and a noticeable increase in temperatures.
The Meteorological Authority also indicated that there are chances of thunderstorms, adding that the incidence rate was 20% in the northwestern coasts, Lower Egypt, Greater Cairo and the Western Desert.
